Things to do together!
A few upcoming events you and you mentee might enjoy, plus a list of attractions and places

Bath in Fashion, 21-29 March 2015
Lots of events around the city including career advice, a vintage fair, button making and
more. Ticket prices vary. How about a talk by the world’s most famous tattoo artist? See

Adults £17 bought before 7 April, admits up to 2 children free. Fairground rides, local food,
agricultural technology and lots of opportunities to see animals!

Holburne Museum til 7 June
Gwen John to Lucian Freud exhibition: the changing landscape of 20th century British art,
including the explosion of pop art. £6.95, under 16 free.

Portfolio Group for GCSE students, fortnightly during term times, £9.
This art class offers 14-18 year olds the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and
techniques outside of school in a relaxed and supportive group. Experiment with new
materials and media, be tutored by experienced artists and educators, and engage with the
museum’s collection and exhibitions, including taking inspiration from our programme of
contemporary art installations.

Our local superleague team wrap up the league season with this local derby against Cardiff’s
finest, includes pre-match entertainment. Online ticket booking. Lots more on the site about
other sports and the re-opening of the 2012 Legacy swimming pool in April.

Party in the City, 15 May from 5.30, free
Music and performance in venues all around Bath to celebrate the Music Festival opening,

Where We Are, 4-5 July Young People’s Theatre show, age 8+
YPT members “show us their Bath and give an insight into where they think the future will
take us”.
