National Seminars In a bid to promote the efficacy & adaptability of Ayurvedic medicine among general masses and Ayurvedic fraternity, the institution had organized three successful national seminars on ‘Ayurveda in 21st Century; Introspection & Prospects’ in the year 2005, 2006 & 2008 respectively which were graced and attended by eminent physicians, scholars, educationalists and other allied experts from all over the country. Organized 1st National Seminar on ‘Ayurveda in 21st Century: Introspection & Prospects’ held at Chandigarh on 16th Oct., 2005. Organized 2nd National Seminar on ‘Ayurveda in 21st Century; Introspection & Prospects’ on 28th & 29th October 2006 at Sector 29-D, Chandigarh. Topics of 1st Scientific Session 1) Recent Advancements in the Treatment of Life Style Diseases 2) Teaching & Practice of Ayurveda in Present Scenario Topic of 2nd Scientific Session Antenatal care (Garbhini Paricharya) in Ayurveda & Its Clinical significance in maternal and foetal well being. Topic of 3rd Scientific Session Utility and Adaptability of Para surgical Measures. Topic of 4th Scientific Session Standardization of Poly-herbo-mineral Drugs. Organized 3rd National Seminar on ‘Ayurveda in 21st Century; Introspection & Prospects held at Desh Sewak Auditorium, Sector 29D, Chandigarh (U.T.) on 5th & 6th April, 2008 on the following topics: Topic of 1st Scientific Session Rules & Regulations of Central/State Government in concern to Ayurvedic practices/Applied oriented teaching & training of fundamentals of Ayurveda. Topic of 2nd Scientific Session Preventive & Curative aspect of Ayurveda w.s.r. to Vata Vyadhi (Neurological disorders) and Life Style Disorders. Topic of 3rd Scientific Session Applicability and efficacy of para-surgical measures on scientific parameters. Topics of 4th Scientific Session 1. Mother & Child Healthcare in Ayurveda 2. Standardization, Quality Control, Safety & Efficacy of Ayurvedic Drugs. Organized 4th National Seminar on ‘Ayurveda in 21st Century; Introspection & Prospects held at Desh Bhagat Auditorium, Mandi Gobindgarh on 18th & 19th Dec., 2010 on the following topics: First Scientific Session Topic: Ayurveda in Global Scenario Second Scientific Session Topic: Para-surgical Measures –Adaptability in Various Conditions Third Scientific Session Topic: Ayurveda & Alternate Therapies in Mother and Child Healthcare Fourth Scientific Session Topic: a. Ayurvedic Practices and Teaching in relation to Modern Concepts & Conventions b. Ayurvedic Medicines-Standardization, Quality Control and Safety The institute conducted two Continuing Medical Education Programmes (six days each) successfully from 30th Nov. to 5th Dec., 09 on Module I & II and from 14th – 19th November, 2011 on Geriatric Health Care and Mother & Child Healthcare through Ayurveda (3+3 days) which were sponsored by Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth & Deptt. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
