Minutes of the General Meeting, were held at Border Cantina, Northville, MI.
Meeting was called to order by President, Marie Glodowski at 7:30 pm.
Members Present Were:
 Angie Hartley, Brian Hartley, Ann Tlachac, Marie Glodowski, Joe Shoemaker, Lanalee Price, Steve
Dickie, Lori Dickie, Marcin Glodowski, Mark Rudd, Ann Rudd, Amy Balthrop, Jill Kind, Lynn Salamin,
Lauren Michaels, Jarret Teamer
Motion for Prior Minutes
 Minutes were approved as written. Amy 2nd , all approved.
Secretaries Report
 Last Call for Membership renewals, after June you will have to reapply for membership.
 Renewals received: Diane Domeck, Dan & Vilma O’Neill, Dawn Gibas, Amy Hites, Jarret Teamer,
Melissa Peterson.
Treasurer Report
 Jill looking into insurance against the club board being sued.
 Current balance $22180.02.
Lure Coursing Chair
 MKC CATS on June 21st are all set.
 July 19th & 20th Whitmore Lake, RR & Whippet specialty, AKC on the 19th ,QC will be at the beginning of
the day. ASFA on the 20th. We will probably be done by noon. Ann R. to figure out an entrée for
Saturday for a pot luck lunch.
 September 13th & 14th AKC Lake Erie and October 25th & 26th ASFA All Breed at Whitmore lake, still
working on judges.
Agility Chair
 Nothing new to report. Premiums are out for August.
 Working on Judges for the 2015 year.
Conformation Chair
 Angie ordered all the trophies for the Regional on July 5th. Etched glassware with the date and the
regional on them. This includes Breed awards, as well as 1st place in all groups.
 Amy has Collar Addict collars for all breed awards and Sweeps winners. Toys for puppy sweeps.
 Marie made a motion to spend $300 on lunch, Amy 2nd all approved.
 Angie made a motion for $50 to go toward expenses for travel for sweeps. All approved.
New Business
 Jill made a motion the club purchase BOD insurance policy (includes volunteers at events). Marie 2nd,
all in favor.


Lynn Salamin volunteered to contact the sweeps judges regarding expense reimbursement and other
info, since she is not showing in sweeps.
Elections: Marie Glodowski – President, Steve Dickie – Vice President, Jill Kind – Treasurer, Amy
Balthrop – Secretary.
Old Business
 Angie expanded her suggestions from last meeting for education ideas this coming year. Conformation
seminar, boot camp, tracking seminar, barn hunt, club sponsored health clinic at discounted rates. Ann
T suggested those involved in all breed clubs promote and work together, to help reduce costs and
encourage other opportunities.
 Ann R. suggested we take part in the Novi Pet Expo this year. We can divide out times so nobody has to
be there all day.
 Temperament test results were tremendous, 33 dogs signed up and passed. Complimented by the
chief tester and many participants on such a great day. We had people come from as far as New York,
Ohio, Pennsylvania. It rained a little, but that didn’t bog down the fun and high spirits we all had. It was
a great success that actually ended in a profit for the club of $300.


4/19 – In Columbus, Rowan took BOB and a Group 3 over 109 other hounds. For his third breed win of the
year and first EVER group placement. (and Mine too!)
4/20 – In Columbus, Ayla went Winner’s Bitch (but the major broke)
5/3 – Ten Tifari Dogs Passed Raisin River’s first ever Termperament test!  Rowan, Henry, Wally, Stryker,
Fiona, Piper, Ayla, Rosie, Gus & Finn. (Owners drove in from PA & NY)
5/10 – Piper won the open stake in ASFA Lure coursing @ Lake Erie Metropark to complete her ASFA Fch title
with Style.  Ayla took third place for her first ASFA points.
5/11 – In Tallmadge, Ayla went Winner’s Bitch/BOW
Vilma:
4 for 4.. Multiple Group winning Bronze GCh. KAYLA won Breed all 4 days
at the Black Diamond Cluster in Morgantown, WV. April 24-27.
Including a Group 2 placement !!
NEW Champion.!!! Sweet Sister SOJIE finished her Championship May 25 at the
Mountaineer KC.. She is now a DUAL champion.
The day after winning WB in the show ring she won BOB at the AKC Lima KC Lure Coursing
Field Trial... Very Versatial.
NEW TITLE for MOM ARIEL. She got her LCX 10 . this is an AKC RECORD. Lure courser Excellent title April
26 winning the breed out of teh VETERAN class. No bitch like an old bitch. !
LCX 10 is the highest title any courser of any breed has ever achieved.
It requires 145 Champion points beyond the Champion title..
Go WEST YOUNG WOMAN. Diamond's Queen of SHEBA got Best of Opposite Sex both days
in her first weekend out showing. at the Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers in Lewiston, Idaho & at the Lewis-Clark KC.
April 19 & 20.
Good DNA produces good dogs. Champions come from champions.
Dan & Vilma O'Neill breed QUALITY Ridgebacks. TALLY HO !!!!!
Amy:
Had 2 Borzoi pups take 3rd & 4th in sweeps at the nationals and 2nd & 3rd in regular classes at the nationals.
One of those pups just took sweeps group 1 at a hound show and earned a major.
Betty (RR) took a 5pt. major in Lure coursing in NM.
Marie:
Bess earned her TT
Lauren:
Zeppelin earned his TT
