An ocean is a large body of salt water.
Oceans cover much of Earth.
Ocean animals live where they can find food.
Blue whales are the largest animal on Earth.
Crabs find food near the shore.
Fish, stingrays, and sea turtles are animals that live in the ocean.
Coral Reefs are formed by millions of tiny corals.
Grasses have long roots to soak up water deep in the ground. This also keeps animals from pulling out the roots when grazing.
During a fire, the roots of many grasses survive so they can grow back quickly.
Many grasses have flexible stems so they can bend in the wind.

Communities have rules called laws.
A community is a group of people who live or work together.

The government is a group of people who make laws.
We should obey the laws in our community and not break them.
Communities have leaders.
Leaders make the rules for our community to keep us safe.
A law is a rule that people in a community must follow.
