About GNCSGI-F&M, Jabalpur
Global Nature Care Sangathan’s Group of Institutions, Faculty
of Engineering and Management, Jabalpur was established in
2009. Since then it is working efficiently. It has arranged three
national seminars and regularly arranges seminars on various
topics. It has carried the knowledge to the door step of the user.
Introduction of the theme:
A Nuclear Power Plants has been
planned at CHUTKA,
MANDLA district near Jabalpur M.P. to generate 1400Mw
power. While this is a welcome decision by government of India
but due to general lack of understanding and information, fear
has gripped general public around CHUTKA and nearby areas of
the tribal dominated Mandla, District in M.P. more after the
nuclear disaster at Fukushima in Japan. To alley such fears and
generate a favorable and positive opinion about the usefulness of
nuclear energy, Global Group of Institution, a premier
engineering institute of Jabalpur is planning to organize a Two
days National Conference on "Geotechnical and Seismo-tectonic
Framework around Nuclear Power Plant near Jabalpur" 1920Dec, 2013.
other DAE aided organizations, L&T, IOC, HPCL, CRRI, IIT,
PWD, PHED, WRD, NRRDA, MPRRDA, MPRDC & all
others related with the field. The list will be displayed during
the Conference.
About Jabalpur
Jabalpur is the 2nd biggest town in MP with a population of
about 30 lakhs. It is climatically a tropic region. During
December, the temperature will be around 18°C and one has to
wear woolen clothes. It is well connected by rail, buses and
air. One can make plan to visit Kanha-Kisli and Bandhavgarh
reserve sanctuaries for tigers; Khajuraho temples and the
Pachmarhi - the mountainous queen. Also, Jabalpur is world
wide famous for marble rocks on the river Narmada.

The Conference aims to discuss the subject through the
following themes –

Papers

The Paper should be written & sent keeping the following
instructions in mind
 It should be written on A-4 size paper
 The topic of the paper should be in New Roman Times Font
in 14 points in upper case.
 Margins should be Top 5 cms, Bottom & Right - 2.5 cms,
Left -4 cms.
 The author(s) name in 12 points with the description of their
designation and organisation below in Italics
 The paper should have synopsis / abstract below the
author’s description in about 150 words but not in columns.
 The paper should include Introduction, description of the
methodology, theory, observations results, conclusion,
references & graphs etc.
 The maximum total length of the paper should be 6 nos. of
A-4 size paper.
 Camera ready CD & Two hard copies of the paper should be
sent to the organizer.
 The text should be typed in two columns (83mm wide each
column ) with gutter as 5mm between the two columns in 10
point. Total printed area will be appox.171 mm x 230 mm.
 Sufficient space should be left between authors name &
abstract and other headings.
 Authorization to print the papers to. The organizers will not
be responsible for any copy right violations.
