Corpus Christi College Cambridge Job Description Job Title: Part-time Administrative Assistant Responsible to: Bursary and HR Purpose of Job: To provide Administrative Support to the Bursary and HR Duties & Responsibilities: Bursary Administration for the Executive and Governing Body Meetings (4 per term from October 2014). This includes the extensive photocopying of papers and efficient and timely distribution of papers to the committee members Maintaining College circulation lists and labels, telephone and email lists Administration and coordination of the May Week Concert each year Assisting with the Fellows’ Guest Room Bookings and Chapel Bookings using Forum Coordination of Advent Carol Service and Chapel Officer Dinner invites on an annual basis Administration for posters and flyers for the Chapel on an ad-hoc basis Assisting College Secretary with the administration of weekly service sheets for Holy Communion and Evensong To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required in this position. HR Providing a high standard of confidential administrative support to the HR Manager including: Recruitment administration including advertising all vacancies, sending out application forms, collating all responses, sending out invite letters for interview and rejection letters Updating staff lists including UKBA passport/right to work in the UK, staff headcount, casuals and temporary staff, holidays, absence and DBS checks. Assisting the HR Manager with ad-hoc projects and other related duties that arise from the nature and character of the position. Part-time Admin Assistant - 2014 Person Specification Knowledge/ Qualifications Experience Essential Criteria Formal secretarial qualification Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint Desirable Criteria RSA Stage 2 or 3 or equivalent Proven administrative and secretarial experience Skills/Abilities Working knowledge of committees and associated paperwork.
