NURSERY 1
Happy April to all my Nursery parents! I
am so excited that it is April and the warm
weather that is to come.
This month’s theme is Spring Showers.
We are planning on bringing sunshine and
flowers into our room to brighten our smiling
faces. We will be using our senses to learn all
about spring time.
Nursery 1 is saying farewell to Robert
and Evie who are moving up to Nursery 2. We
are so blessed to have watched you grow from
an infant to a crawler. Our infant room won’t be
empty after Robert and Evie move up because
we have two new friends starting in April. Their
names are Lukas, and Elianna. We are excited to
welcome them and make new memories with
them.

NURSERY 2:
My, oh my! Where is this year going?
March was full of fun learning about spots,
dots, lines and bunnies! We love being able to
make dots on everything. Make sure to check
out our Art Gallery regularly for all our new
master pieces.
The month of March finally brought us
spring! It is getting warmer and wetter outside,
so please bring in rain boots or snow boots for
our many adventures. Please also make sure
there are extra clothes in your child’s cubby just
in case we get wet or muddy.
April will be just as fun as March. The
arrival of the Easter bunny will start us off and
running! We will be learning about opposites,
such as: up & down, big & little, push & pull,
soft & hard, and rough & smooth.
This month also brings lots of changes.
Our friends Olivia and Ella are moving up to
Toddler 1, and Evie and Robert are moving into
our classroom. We will miss you girls, but are
excited about watching our two new friends
grow. Lastly, Miss Melissa and Miss Rhianna are
switching rooms! We are both overjoyed to
begin these new adventures with your children.

TODDLER 1&2:
Our theme in toddler 1 and 2 is Under
the Sea. We will play with water often and
explore all of the animals that live in the ocean.
We will also read many new stories about the
creatures in the sea.
This month we are welcoming our new
toddler 2 teacher Miss Dominique. We are so
happy to have her. She has many fun activities
coming our way!
Now that the weather is warmer, we
will continue to go outside on dryer days. Bring
in your rain boots for puddle jumping!

SCHOOL AGERS:
Hurray! Spring is here! The school agers
are so excited to finally get outside after school
to play on the big climber! Some April
afternoons do get chilly, so please leave an
extra coat or sweater, along with sneakers for
your child to wear.
This month the school agers have off
from school to relax over spring break. Miss
Rachel and Miss Breanna have planned a
gardening theme. The school agers will get the
opportunity to plant their own seeds and keep a
journal. In the journal they will document what
they do to their own plants, and predict what
they think will happen over the next week.
Different crafts and activities will be completed
to decorate our bulletin board in our classroom,
so please stop by to check it out!
There is also exciting news in the school
age room! Summer camp letters are going
home to you, the parents. Miss Kim, Miss
Rachel and Miss Breanna will be running
summer camp this year and have already
planned the weekly themes and the field trips.
The school age teachers are so excited to make
this summer camp fun and energetic so that
your children can have a great time.
If you have any questions, please feel
free to ask any of the school age teachers.
