College Access Leadership Institute (CALI)
at NYU Abu Dhabi
Parent Agreement Form
NYU’s College Access Leadership Institute (CALI) will be offered for the first time at NYU Abu Dhabi in Summer
2015. CALI is designed to demystify the college admissions process and expand students’ ability to successfully
navigate the college search process. CALI at NYU Abu Dhabi will be particularly focused on the challenges faced
by applicants to US universities who have attended high schools outside the United States. CALI at NYU Abu
Dhabi is open to male and female high school students of any nationality who are enrolled in a high school in the
United Arab Emirates.
August 2015 Program Details
Dates: Monday, August 10 through Thursday, August 13 (4 days)
Timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily
Students selected to participate in CALI at NYU Abu Dhabi will be under a scholarship which covers the cost of
participation, program materials, and lunch on campus. There is no cost to the student or family.
CALI at NYU Abu Dhabi will be run by full-time staff of the NYUAD Admissions Office, and some sessions may
involve other NYUAD staff such as individuals from the Writing Center and Career Development Center.
Parent Agreement
I understand that this is a day program and accommodation is not provided. I will ensure my child has
transportation to and from the NYUAD campus on Saadiyat Island for each day of the program.
I understand that full participation is mandatory for selected students. I will ensure my child is on time each
day, and participates in all days of the program.
