This is a newly acquired item in our Northern Territory
Collection.
The personalised number plates represent a certain spirit of
the NT - bold, adventurous, quirky, different and nonconformist.
Vivien relocated to Darwin in 2011 and NT personalised car
number plates, and the amazingly large number of them,
caught her attention.
While Vivien was between jobs the idea of documenting the
weird and wonderful personalised number plates of the NT
came to her, resulting in this entertaining book which
features photos, owners and the stories behind these NT
icons.
