Multiple spaces are available to accommodate those that need additional space. (Two spaces = twice the registration fee.) Power lines are only available for a fee. Any 110 lines are $20; a 220 30 amp line is an additional $40. Please indicate below what is needed. (Vendor must provide a cord to Laurel Arts power source.) I grant permission for photos of my craft/products/media to be used on social media platforms and promotional items. Signature: __________________________________________ Date: ____________________________ Vendor Rules & Instructions All items sold are subject to approval by the Maker’s Market Committee. No resale items permitted. Color photos must accompany the application. Do not include more than three (3) color photos, which should include 2 photos of all items sold and 1 photo of the design and set up of your booth. The photos are used to ensure the quality of your product and to eliminate the possibility of mass duplication. If jewelry is a part of your display, please indicate what type of jewelry (i.e. 14k, sterling silver, costume or watches). All items must be handcrafted by the participating artist. Crafts/products/media should show creativity and originality, good craftsmanship and design. Photos may also be e-mailed to megan.e.will@gmail.com. This is a juried event. If you are approved for the event, you will be notified in writing by May 1, 2016. All merchandise shall be of a family oriented nature and shall not be offensive to the public or fellow crafter in any way. No items displaying suggestive connotations or profanity, political or religious campaigns, or weapons may be sold. The chairperson of the show shall have the discretion to determine if something is offensive and shall be deemed not saleable. Anything deemed not saleable must be removed from the grounds immediately. We ask that you demonstrate at your booth, if possible. Demonstrations should help to educate attendees and promote an interest in the art/craft/media, which should help you with sales. You must list everything you intend to sell. This helps with our advertising, as well as keeping us from overbooking a particular item. If you have something unusual, please describe. No raffle tickets, drawings or contests free or otherwise are permitted at vendor booths. Vendor is responsible for all applicable licenses, fees and taxes required for merchandise. State sales taxes must be paid to the state comptroller. The tax rate in Pennsylvania is 6%. BOOTH SET UP – Saturday 7/9: 6:30 am to 9:30 am (all vehicles must be moved to designated parking areas by 9:30) FESTIVAL HOURS – Saturday 7/9 and Sunday 7/10: 10 am to 5 pm both days BOOTH TEARDOWN – Sunday 7/10 after 5:00 pm All booths must be left up until the close of the show. Please do not drive into the booth area or pack up before 5:00 pm on Sunday. Vendors who do not comply with this request will not be asked back. Vendor is responsible for tables and displays. Please use good taste in your set-up. Booth spaces are 12’ x 12’. All spaces are outdoors. No tents or tables will be provided by Laurel Arts. Booth assignments are subject to the sole discretion of the festival committee. Every effort will be made to honor requests, but we cannot guarantee your space assignment request. Laurel Arts will provide overnight security to guard against injury, loss or damage. Laurel Arts will not assume responsibility should any injury, loss or damage occurred. Laurel Arts is not responsible for merchandise left in vendor’s space before or after the festival. Please make a copy of this agreement for your records and return the original.
