Licensed Conformation classes consist of: A. Regular Classes. Classes for intact dogs: Puppy (6 mos., under 1 yr.); Junior (1 yr., under 2 yrs.); Senior (2yrs., under 3 yrs.); Adult (3 yrs. And up); Breeder/Handler (6 mos. and up, handled by breeder or member of breeder’s family); Champion; and Grand Champion. B. Altered Classes. Classes for altered dogs. Altered Puppy (6 mos., under 1 yr.); Altered Junior (1 yr., under 2 yrs.); Altered Senior (2yrs., under 3 yrs.); Altered Adult (3 yrs. And up); Altered Breeder/Handler (6 mos. and up, handled by breeder or member of breeder’s family); Altered Champion; and Altered Grand Champion. Non Licensed Classes Offered All 4 Shows Junior Showmanship Classes. Consist of: Pee Wee (2 yrs., under 4 yrs.); Sub-Junior (4 yrs., under 6 yrs.); Pre-Junior ( 6 yrs, under 8 yrs ), Novice Junior, Open Junior (8 yrs., under 13 yrs.); Novice Senior, Open Senior (13 yrs., under 18 yrs.) A Best and Reserve Best Junior in Show will be awarded. Novice Puppy (3 months to under 6 months) will be judged after the regular classes for each breed. At the end of the show, before the Best in Multi-Breed Show Competition, a Best in Multi-Breed Show Novice Puppy There will be no group offered for Novice Puppy . Veterans (7 years +; intact or altered) for each breed will be judged after the regular classes for each breed and Novice Puppy. At the end of the show, before the Best in Multi-Breed Show Competition, a Best in Multi-Breed Show Veterans competition will be held. There will be no group offered for Veterans. Brace Each entry in this class consists of two dogs of the same breed handled by a single handler. This class shall be judged on the basis of the overall quality of the entry and the similarity of the two dogs in type, size, and markings. The purpose of this class is to reward high quality within consistent type. The Judge shall give up to four placements, where possible, in this class. Dogs must be six months of age or older, intact and permanently registered with UKC or have a valid Temporary Listing number on the day of the show in order to be eligible for this class. Group competition will be offered for all groups for both regular classes and altered classes. Best in Multi-Breed Show, Reserve Best in Multi-Breed, Best Altered in Multi-Breed Show, Reserve Best Altered in Multi-Breed show will be awarded. TOTAL DOG will be offered with Rally and Saturday Conformation Show 1 and/or Show 2. Dogs that are permanently registered with UKC as of the day of the show and dogs that have a valid Temporary Listing (TL) number as of the day of the show are eligible to compete for the Total Dog Award. To be eligible for this award, a dog must meet the following requirements: 1. Compete in conformation with competition and win one of the following classes: (a) Best Male/Female of Variety, (b) Best Male/Female, (c) Best of Winners, (d) Champion, (e) Grand Champion, (f) Best of Breed, (g) Group 1 through 4 (Note: Group 4 win only counts if there are five or more breeds in the Group class.), (h) Best In Multi-Breed Show, (i) Reserve Best In Multi-Breed Show, (j) Best In Show, (k) Reserve Best In Show 2. Earn a qualifying score in a licensed class at a UKC Rally Obedience For the purpose of this award, competition through Best of Breed is defined as defeating another dog of the same breed. If there is no competition of the same breed, a Best of Breed winner who defeats another dog of a different breed by placing in the Group, by winning Best or Reserve Best In Multi-Breed Show, or by winning Best or Reserve Best In Show shall be considered to have a win with competition. REFUNDS and RETURNED CHECKS Requests received prior to the closing date will be honored, subject to a $5 administrative fee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the judge or veterinarian, barred from competition by action of the show committee or UKC. No fees will be refunded if the show can not open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency or any other cause beyond the control of the show committee. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The club will add a $25 fee for each returned check. The show giving club, their agents and employees, etc, assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property.
