The student does not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors below.
By doing this assessment you will be asked to learn about a real world issue and
then take some ACTION to help educate others about it.
The ISSUES (Choose one of the following): How does the Law of Conservation of
Mass impact the cleanliness of our world’s water supply? Or, how does the LOCM
impact the cleanliness of our atmosphere (the air we breathe)? Or, how does the
LOCM impact the cleanliness of our land (pollution, trash, etc.)?
The ACTION: What will you do to help? Everyone will be asked to at least create a
brochure that you will then give to somebody to help them understand your issue.
Some may choose to make a computer slideshow presentation (Powerpoint, Google
presentation, etc.). Others may write a song. You have to create something to get
your message across to other people!!
What is your issue or problem that you are going to be educating people
about?________
