Topic: Questions of the death penalty to minors.
Position: The delegation of France has decided to take a stance against death penalty for
minors. France was one the last countries in west Europe to remove the death penalty and
has not executed any minors form the formation of the 5th republic of France and wishes
to continue these actions.
The nation of France knows that this call of capital punishment has destroyed many
innocent lives in our past. This includes the era of terror which ensued in France in the
late 17th century, were thousands of civilians were executed on false grounds and there
were executions very day form 5 September 1793 – 28 July 1794 and lead to the rise of
the dictator Napoleon Bonaparte.
Our Wishes that these actions are not repeated anywhere around the world. It has not only
claimed lives of the innocent but has also a violation of civil rights because if under the
Geneva Convention prisoners of war cannot be killed what right the government has to
execute its own civilians. The execution of any person is also very costly which add to
the problems of execution of civilians not ever minors.
Although life sentences are quite common in France when dealing murders and rapes
which have sparked these talks and our government say that the government has the right
to detain a civilian form the society if he is harmful to other civilians in the society but
has no right to take the life of individual.

Position:
The delegation of France has taken the decision to promote more freedom of the press to
happen around the world.
The nation of France has an uncensored press and media which allows true information to
the civilians of the country and has benefited the nation with better awareness of the
country and the world. We try with the media and the press to bring global issues to the
domestic household and through this various people has created theories and ideologies
to tackle these issues showing how the media benefits the society and the nation. The
nation of France understands the need to censor important matter of the military and the
government and that this is an important factor of why media is censored.
The delegation of France says that the government has the right to censor information
that could lead to a potential harm to the civilians within the country but doesn’t have the
right to hide blunders or local issues that are arising against the government. The
delegation of France believes that people of the nation have the right to know what is
happening in their country and if government chosen by people are fulfilling the needs
and demands of nation and justifying their position in the country.

Topic: Addressing the question of religious minority violence
Position:
France supports the cause for fair treatment for all citizens within the nation immaterial
of religion, caste, or race which is a part of the French constitution.
We believe that first any citizen should be treated fairly with his civil rights without
religion, caste or race playing a part. France recognizes the fact that it is a nation that has
not had this issue until recent times. Most of the French people are Roman Catholic
Christians but due to the increase in globalization there is an increase in Muslim and
multiple Far East Asian communities. This has caused several problems within France
including the fact that many French that are Christians see the French Muslims trying to
impose elements of their culture upon the majority which has led to increased tensions
between societies in France. A very good example of this would have been when the
French Christian society questioned, why the ‘Hijaab’’ should be worn which does not
belong to the religion of Islam. Delegation of France believes that it was a right decision
to illuminate wearing the “hijab” in France as it does isolate the Muslims minority in
France which causes tensions in society. This is also visible by fascists in France having
troubling Muslim minorities in France and asking for their deportation from the country.
The delegation of France believes that there are many ways of uniting the culturaly rich
societies which have violence against minorities. France believes that differences
between people in their public lives that are enforced through culture and not religion
should be removed and replaced with a more united thought of the society which as we
have been trying to do. So far, France has managed to succeed in doing this by using the
media and sports affectively to unite the people of France. V Va le France V Va le
