CONFERENCE THEME The theme for the Conference is “Raising the Confidence of the Citizenry in the Legislature: The Role of the Speaker”. CEREMONIAL GOWNS OF HON SPEAKERS AND PRESIDING OFFICERS Hon Speakers and Presiding Officers are expected to come along with their ceremonial gowns for procession during the Opening Ceremony. SPOUSAL PROGRAMME A Spousal Programme has been planned for spouses of Speakers and Presiding Officers who would attend the Conference. Details of this programme would be communicated to participants during the Conference. Participants from countries where Ghana has no Diplomatic Mission may request for a visa on arrival facility, and make available photocopies of the bio data pages of their passports to facilitate the processing of their visas on their arrival. CURRENCY EXCHANGE The major international currencies are exchanged freely at the commercial banks and the numerous forex bureaux located all over the city. The prevailing exchange rates are displayed in the banking halls and in the forex bureaux. HEALTHCARE Healthcare facilities would be provided at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and the Labadi Beach Hotel during the Conference for delegates who may require emergency treatments.
