Mean radiation temperature. 4 Nikon Coolpix 800 digital camera with fish-eye lens - A super wide-angle of 180 degrees gets everything in the frame – great for giving context. The distortions resulting from such a wide angle can be used to artistic or humorous effect. Combine the incredibly short focal length with a small aperture, and even objects touching the lens can be in focus. A huge field of view combined with a relatively small camera means you can get very unusual perspectives on small or inaccessible spaces. A fisheye lens lets you easily capture full spherical panoramas in just a few shots. 5 Telaire 7001 Carbon Dioxide and Temperature Monitor The Telaire 7001 is an easy-to-use hand-held CO2/Temp monitor. Equipped with 0 -4V output, the unit is perfect for long-term monitoring/recording. 6 EXTECH Easy View Digital Light Meter EA30 The Easy View digital light meter EA30 is a hand held; battery operated light measuring equipment. It measures light level (Luminance). The device measures up to 40,000 Fc and 400,000 Lux. 7 GOSSEN MAVOLUX 5032C Lux-meter The MAVOLUX 5032C and Foot-candle meter is a handy, easy to use and highly accurate measuring instrument. It allows for the measurement of illumination in either lux or footcandles as well as luminance in cd per square meter or foot-lamberts with optional luminance attachments which can be screwed onto the sensor, and are available as accessories. 8 HOBO weather station The Hobo Weather Station, a data logging system that can measure temperature, relative humidity, photo-synthetically active radiation (PAR), wind speed and wind direction. There are four main components in the HOBO Weather Station: - Data logger One or more sensors. Hardware accessories. BoxCar Pro software. 9 LI-1400 Data-logger with Radiation Sensor and Photometric Sensor The LI-1400 is a multipurpose data-logger that functions both as a data logging device and a multichannel, auto-ranging meter. It can be configured as a hand-held meter to display instantaneous data, or be configured to automatically log data over an extended period of time. The LI-1400 has three current input channels are located on sealed BNC connectors, the BNC connectors can be connected either the Radiation Sensor or the Photometric Sensor to measure the data, the data are stored in the build-in memory, and it can be transferred to a computer for analysis using the RS-232 interface. 10 MINOLTA Luminance meter LS-100 Minolta Luminance meter LS-100 is lightweight, compact meter for taking luminance measurements of light sources or reflective surfaces. It is extremely accurate, completely portable, and easy to operate. The meter can measure over a wide range of luminance level (LS-100: 0.001 to 299900 cd/meter square). 11 Digital Humidity/Temperature Meter The Digital RH/temp meter is a simple, easy use, lightweight, accurate instrument. The instrument is for real time measurement. Measurement range: Humidity 10% to 95%. Temperature -20 degree C to +60 degree C. 12 HOBO U12-012 Temp/RH/Light/External Data Logger HOBO U12-012 data-logger measure temperature, relative humidity, light intensity. With 12-bit resolution measurements, this data logger gathers a range of recorded data and stores 43,000 measurements. - 12-bit resolution provides high accuracy Large memory for long-term deployments or fast sampling Programmable and push button start Direct USB interface for fast data offload Compatible with Onset’s HOBO U-Shuttle for convenient data transport Measurement range Temperature: -20° to 70°C (-4° to 158°F), RH: 5% to 95% RH (non-condensing), Light: Designed for general purpose indoor measurement of relative light levels, 1 to 3000 footcandles (lumens/ft2), typical 0-32,300 lumens/m2 13 Psychro-Dyne This portable psychrometer indicates wet and dry bulb temperatures for relative humidity and dewpoint determinations. Housed in a high-impact case, the unit consists of a pair of matched thermometers, magnetic fan motor, plastic water bottle, illuminating lamp, psychrometric slide rule and spare parts kit. No whirling of the instrument is required to obtain readings. A miniature fan provides constant air motion over the thermometers. Humidity is determined from the psychrometric tables included with the instrument. 14 Raytek Portable Noncontact Thermometer (RAYST6LXU) The portable noncontact thermometer is a rugged, fast, and convenient instrument, this simple, light weight tool use for measure material surface temperature. 15 Testo 400 and Testo 480 Climate Measuring Instrument The testo 400 and testo 480 is a measuring instrument for measuring climate-related parameters. The testo 400 and testo 480 is ideal for comfort level measurements for the workplace evaluation and flow measurements in and at ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Depending on the measurement parameter to be measured, certain probes or sensors must be plugged into the instrument. You can customize measuring programs to match the relevant measuring task (e.g. continuous or punctual measurement). These measuring programs are linked to a specific measuring point. After the measurement, the relevant measurement protocols are saved under the measuring program. There are the probes and sensors connected to the Testo 480: - The temp/RH probe. The wind velocity probe. The mean radiation sensor. The 3-function probe for testo 400 only (temp/RH and wind velocity). 16 Wet and Dry Blub Thermometer Dry Bulb Temperature of Air (DBT The temperature of the air measured by the ordinary thermometer is called as the dry bulb temperature of air, commonly referred as DBT. When ordinary thermometer is exposed to the atmosphere, it indicates the dry bulb temperature, which is nothing but the atmospheric temperature. Wet Bulb Temperature of Air (WBT): The wet bulb temperature of air is also measured by the ordinary thermometer, but the only difference is that the bulb of the thermometer is covered by the wet cloth. Temperature of the ordinary air measured by the thermometer when it is covered by wet cloth or wick is called as the wet bulb temperature, commonly referred to as WBT. When the air comes in contact with the wet cloth it absorbs some moisture and gives up some heat, sue to which the temperature of the air reduces. This reduced temperature measured by the thermometer is called as the wet bulb temperature. 17
