- Responsible for booking talent for all studio shows airing on NBC Sports Network
- Shows include ProFootball Talk, Football Night in America, Costas Tonight and SportsDash
with Yahoo! Sports
- In charge of booking, scheduling and arranging appearances & travel for all NBCSN hosts [inhouse]
- Responsible for handling media requests we get for our own in-house talent, facilitate their
schedules and assess whether or not certain interviews would be in their best interest
- In charge of booking, scheduling and arranging interviews & travel for all recurring “expert
analysts” appearing on studio shows
- In charge of booking, scheduling and arranging day-to-day interviews 5 days a week with
relevant coaches, athletes, GMs and expert analysts for our 2 live daily shows
- Oversee, schedule and facilitate all daily in-studio, satellite, Skype &/or phone interviews for all
studio shows, making sure both parties are comfortable w/ topics & overall discussion
- Create detailed, organized google docs & excel sheets to distribute to each member of the
production team for each network show in order to get everyone on the same page regarding
talent, guests, travel etc.
- Constantly pitching our shows to agents and PR contacts to appeal to the guests we are trying to
book
- Have extensive & reliable media contacts across the sports world [especially within NFL],
including managers, agents, publicists, teams, coaches, scouts & athletes.
- Handle a high volume of bookings and fast-paced daily schedule [including nights, weekends
and holidays]
- Possess the ability to make tough decisions and say “No” for the good of my network/talent
- Have a deep knowledge of the NFL and a football pedigree
RECENT NOTABLE EVENTS
- Schedule & facilitate all interviews on-site for special events such as Super Bowl, NFL Combine,
NFL Owners Meetings, College Pro Days, Lake Tahoe Celebrity Golf Outing
- Singlehandedly booked 5 days of NFL guests both pre-taped and live for our Super Bowl
coverage on ProFootball Talk and SportsDash [Arranged 30+ interviews through constant
communication w/ agents and publicists]
- Served as on-site producer , responsible for making sure our own talent had the correct
information regarding what each celebrity/athlete was promoting, as well as making sure the
celebrity/athlete was comfortable & understood what topics we would be touching in each
interview
- Singlehandedly booked & facilitated 20+ interviews with NFL GM’s & Head Coaches in 2
days at the NFL Combine, serving as on-site producer for Mike Florio & Pro Football Talk
- Responsible for alerting each team as to when their interviews would air & providing
them with a copy of the interview/s after the fact
- Served as Mike Florio’s personal PR consultant at the NFL Combine, both scheduling and
denying interview requests from other networks based upon what was best for his schedule and
personal interests
