BACKPACKING HOLIDAYS AROUND THE EUROPE
Class 9a:
In pairs plan an educational one week backpacking trip around
European countries. Write down everything you need to do to plan
for a trip like that. You have to include all the things that are
obligatory and optional as well as what you plan to do during your
stay there (educational and fun activities). Write a report using
grammar and vocabulary from Unit 4 Journeys; must/mustn’t,
comparative adjectives and key expressions related to planning a trip
as well as will/going to future.
Work in the classroom: In pairs brainstorm ideas on what you
need/have to do to plan for a trip. Think about the usual things
people take with them when they travel abroad! Another important
thing to consider is things you mustn’t do! Find ideas for your trip.
At home:
Write the report on a backpacking trip around Europe. Don’t forget
to use all the vocabulary and grammar elements learnt during class
and in previous years!!
The report should be minimum 200 words written in Times New
Roman (12).
