Greetings Beady-Eyed Customers,
Well, we survived it: The new computer system is in place and (most of) the bugs are worked out. What doesn’t
kill ya, makes ya stronger right? Good news is that it’s back to beading! Thanks for your patience while we navigated the
inevitable.
In case you didn’t see the June, 2012, issue of Bead Design magazine, we were thrilled to be featured as one of
their favorite bead shops in a two-page article. Bead Design is a national publication which includes a regular article
called “Bead Stores We Love”. It’s nice to know you’re loved, not only locally but nationally. Question though: Who
WERE those four crazy ladies in the center photo of the article? Apparently they were wearing clown noses while
standing next to the “Wall of Joy” (aka, the Czech bead wall). Silly girls.
Regarding this quarter’s bead classes, we’re trying a little experiment. We’re introducing “Short Takes,” our
classes which feature shorter length classes,typically up to two hours long. These classes are project-oriented classes
introducing new products, design options, and are particularly useful for people who are looking to color outside the box,
ie., integrate multiple mediums into one piece. Of course, we’ll continue onward with our 3-hour technique classes, our 2hour basic beading class, and of course, our full-day precious metal clay (PMC) classes as well. If you have a technique
or class in mind that we do not offer, please come in and chat with us about it because if you’re looking to learn a
particular technique, more than likely someone else is too.

Classes - Registration & Refund Policy
Our classes are quite small in size, so register early. To register for classes you may call Fandangle Bead Store
(327.9992) and use a credit card or you may come by the store to register in person. Full payment is required at the time
of registration. Please read our refund/cancellation policy (which is in keeping with other art institutions in our area),
carefully and before registering. We retain our instructors and reserve seats in our classes based on students'
commitment to attend, often turning away other customers who would have liked to participate in our classes, hence our
refund policy:
Refunds are granted ONLY with a 10-day advance cancellation notice.
Please double-check your calendars before registering for a class.
Please be punctual. Classes start on time and you will need the full allotted time to complete your project. If
there is insufficient enrollment three days prior to a scheduled class, Fandangle Bead Store reserves the right to cancel
the class. Classes are open to students l4 years or older. Please, please, please: no cell phones in class!!! If you
absolutely must have your cell phone on, as a courtesy to the instructor and fellow students, turn phone to "vibrate".
FUN-damentals of Basic Beading: A Class for Beginners

$35 includes everything—you just show up and have fun!
Yes, you CAN bead--and yes, it's going to be fun! Basic beading class is our 2-hour introductory beading class designed
for students who have never beaded. It is the perfect class for people who think they're "not creative" (at Fandangle Bead
Store we believe everyone is creative and we'll prove it to you!). In this beginner level class you will learn a simple wirewrapping technique (a must for making your own focal pendants, earrings and charm bracelets), the ABC's of bead
stringing and all the information you need to explore your inner bead diva! Students will complete a simple necklace and
earring ensemble during this 2-hour class. This is a technique class only (ie., not a design class). The $35 fee includes
everything you need for the class. Basic bead classes are our most popular class and tend to fill up 7-10 days ahead of
time, so call to register early if you have a special date in mind. We can also reserve this class as an event for your
special group, ages l5 years and older—call the shop to reserve your special date in advance.
