Honorable judges, esteemed opponents- Resolved: cellphones and other digital devices should be allowed in school. We of the affirmative believe that cellphones should be allowed in schools for many reasons. Cellphones should be allowed in school in the event of an emergency, or in order to contact parents more easily. If a student had their own cellphone in school they could gather information more easily. They could also continue gather information if the computers are not working or there are not enough computers. Students could also use their cellphones or other digital devices during free time to read or listen to music.
