Biography Lord Bob Edmiston Born in India in 1946, Lord Edmiston, the son of a wartime fighter pilot, came to the United Kingdom at the age of three and subsequently spent five years in Kenya before returning to the U.K. in 1962. He began his career as a bank clerk but today owns companies in the property, motor and finance industries with a combined turnover of approximately $780 million. He and his wife, Tracie, have 3 adult children and ten grandchildren. In 1988, Lord and Lady Edmiston founded Christian Vision, an international charity with offices in 22 countries working to support the Christian church in the areas of evangelism and discipleship both online and offline. Lord and Lady Edmiston also sponsor three community-based academies for middle and high school students. On January 18, 2011, he was introduced into the House of Lords where he hopes to use the position to allow him to be a voice of good for the people.
