Prof. Lakić gave a seminar on how to analyze discourse as a process. Explaining the bond between meaning and the form, he shed light on some of linguistics terms such as pragmatics and stylistics, and later made the distinctions between discourse and text analysis. Referring to some linguists and their different definitions of discourse analysis, Prof. Dr. Lakić gave some examples from classroom discourse to the audience some of whom are teachers-to-be. With students, Prof. Lakić shared the details of language often not recognized by speakers occasionally giving examples from Bosnian language. Focusing on written discourse and organizational pattern of news articles at the end of the seminar, Professor spared a time to answer for questions raised by the students.
