What are the requirements for both unconditional and conditional admission? Unconditional Admission: International students who demonstrate a proven track record of success in the classroom and on standardized tests will have an opportunity to receive an unconditional acceptance to Presbyterian College. Strong candidates for an unconditional acceptance will have a 3.0 recalculated grade point average and a score of 79 on the TOEFL/IBT, and/or 6.0 on the IELTS. Conditional Admission: Students who have demonstrated success in the classroom, but have not reached the test scores listed above may have the opportunity to come to PC on a provisional basis. OIP is available to help international students in a variety of ways throughout their entire career at PC. One of the major responsibilities of OIP is to support international students with the visa and immigration process. OIP also provides complimentary airport pickup for newly arriving international students. Once students are at PC, OIP staff provides a comprehensive international student orientation at the beginning of the semester to ensure that the international students are well prepared for their academic courses as well as daily life at PC. Throughout the course of their studies, OIP continues to assist international students with academic advising and a variety of extracurricular programs in order to aide international students during the cultural adjustment process. Additionally, OIP facilitates international students’ understanding of American culture by offering several regional excursions to international students as a chance to explore the surrounding areas.
