2015 Scholarship Application Form
Nu Alpha Kappa (NAK) is a Latino-based fraternity which encompasses and values all cultures. Since
its inception, NAK at the University of California, Irvine has held its pillars with the highest integrity.
Staying true to NAK’s first pillar of academic excellence, it is an honor that we, the NAK Psi Alumni
Association along with our Psi Chapter, continue to motivate gentlemen in their academic endeavors
while they pursue their own personal goals for ultimate personal growth. The NAK Psi Alumni
Association and Psi Chapter will award a scholarship in the amount of $300 to the most qualified
applicant. Applicants are required to complete the following packet for the Fall 2015 term.
Requirements
1. Applicant must complete entire application form attached.
2. Applicant must either be an incoming male freshman, second year, or first-year transfer student
at the University of California, Irvine and will be attending the Fall 2015 term at UCI.
3. Applicant GPA Requirements: incoming freshman must have a high school 3.5 GPA, ongoing
and first-year transfer students must have a UCI 2.5 GPA. All applicants must provide an
unofficial transcript from previous or current school.
4. Applicant must provide their Fall 2015 class schedule that may also include work, research,
internship, etc.
5. Applicant must provide responses to the attached essay questions attached.

Essay
The Distinguished Gentlemen of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. hold three pillars to the highest
integrity: academics, culture, and brotherhood. It is through these pillars that we pride ourselves in
always giving back to our community through outreaching events and involvements. Through our
challenges, we have persevered through adversity by staying through to our pillars. We pride ourselves

Interview
