ContiTech Setup a Strategic Cooperation with CAAPA
 ContiTech has established a strategic cooperation with the China Aftermarket Auto Parts
Alliance (CAAPA)
 ContiTech will supply customers with professional and effective products and services
via CAAPA’s chain store programs
Shanghai, December, 2015. ContiTech Shanghai Rubber & Plastic Technology Ltd has officially
announced to join the China Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (CAAPA) and accepted the award of
Auto Value strategic channel partner from CAAPA. CAAPA was established by the Aftermarket
Auto Parts Alliance, the largest of its kind in North America, who expanded business into China
one year ago. All members of CAAPA shall go to market in China under the brand of Auto Value
and develop an offline distributor alliance that covers a large number of dealer stores in order to
develop the end market.
As a certified supplier, ContiTech will start to supply CAAPA with power transmission products
such as timing belts, V-ribbed belts, V-belts and timing belt kits. CAAPA offers full services for the
auto parts aftermarket, including product procurement, sales, distribution, marketing and IT
support. CAAPA attracted five established and well-financed distributors as initiators to be
responsible for guiding CAAPA’s growth and development in China market. The initial five charter
members operate a combined 150 auto parts stores, covering 15 different provinces in China.
Ever since its establishment, CAAPA has been known for being strict in selecting suppliers.
