Business Statement:
Summit Medical Clinic is a local clinic in BC, Kamloops that has three main are:
Dr. Julie Anderson, Dr. Victor De Kock, Dr. Hanceke De Kock, and Dr.Boris
Gimbarzevsky. This clinic has several local doctors who work in the clinic from
time to time as shifts permit. Summit Clinic moved to 1380 Summit Drive in
December 1999 after quite a few years at 1590 Summit Drive. The Clinic was
originally started by two young doctors who moved to Kamloops from Logan
Lake. Neither of them practices with Summit any longer.
Project objectives and a project description:
The clinic doesn’t have a web site so it was a good idea to recommend to the
owner about designing a website which uses HTML5 and CSS3. My main
objective is to update the news of the clinic and to use the online appointment
service instead of lining up on the morning in front of the clinic. I used some
elements by using HTML and CSS that will help both the clinic and the user (The
patient) to communicate and to get enough information on both sides. I also
uploaded a video clip, which contains pictures of the rooms and the inside of the
clinic. The site also has a table of the work hours so the user will be aware of what
time the clinic opens and when it closes.

Accessibility:
The website is easy to use and to access. It has the navigation list which contains
what the user (the patient) needs. There’s also the header which also lets the user
reach to the home page. So it’s easy to use and the user can easily reach the home
page by clicking the header banner or by clicking home in the navigation lists.

Business Benefits:
This site will help the clinic to get a chance of getting more clients because now
days everybody is using the internet by different devices such as laptop, tablet,
ipad..etc. so providing this site will benefit the clinic by posting all the news on the
site and by using the site as a connection between the clinic and the user which is
way easier than coming to the clinic and book an appointment or coming to ask
about something on the clinic.
