NDNPA Scholarship Application The North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association (NDNPA) originated in 2005 as the result of a statewide, grassroots effort initiated by three pro-active North Dakota nurse practitioners. Since that time, the association has elected officials, established bylaws, worked on important legislative issues, networked with other state, regional, and national nursing groups, and hosted an annual pharmacology conference. NDNPA developed a scholarship fund to extend their mission of promoting quality healthcare in North Dakota by support, advocacy, leadership and continued education of nurse practitioners. A $400 scholarship is awarded annually to a resident of North Dakota pursuing a graduate degree with a nurse practitioner focus. The NDNPA Board Members-at-Large are responsible for reviewing the scholarship essays and selecting the annual scholarship recipient. The Scholarship recipient will be notified upon selection, and will be honored at the Annual Business Meeting, held during the Pharmacology Conference. 2015 Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: 1.
