Story Presentations
Research a story from the culture or time period we are currently
exploring that we are not already doing for our course readings.
You will present your chosen story and what you have identified as the
key features and themes of the story to the class.
For your presentation, provide the following information:
-A clear synopsis/summary of the story with the relevant details
essential to understanding its key ideas
-The historical or cultural context of the story—what is the basis for the
story and why is it important to its people
-The main themes of the story and the values or beliefs that the story is
meant to convey to its audience
-Significant differences between other versions or accounts of the story,
especially those with an historical basis
