PERFORMANCE BOND
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the undersigned Principal and Surety
are firmly bound to The Most Reverend Joe S. Vasquez, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Austin and his Successors in Office ("Owner") in the principal sum of
___________________________________________ Dollars ($______________________).
Now the condition of this bond is this: That, whereas the undersigned Principal has entered
into a certain Contract with the Owner, which Contract is dated for reference _________________,
whereunder Principal undertakes to perform the following-described Work of construction,
alteration, or repair:
NOW, THEREFORE, if the Principal shall faithfully perform the Contract in accordance
with the Contract Documents and shall fully indemnify and save harmless the Owner from all costs
and damages which the Owner may suffer by reason of Principal's default or failure to do so, and
shall fully reimburse and repay the Owner all outlay and expense which the Owner may incur in
making good any such default, then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise it shall remain
in full force and effect.
Surety waives notice of any change, extension of time, alteration or addition to the terms of
the Contract or to the Work to be performed thereunder, and of any termination for the Principal's
default of the Principal's right to proceed, and agrees and stipulates that no such change, extension
of time, alteration, addition or termination shall, in anywise, affect its obligation on this bond.
