Pricing for the 2014 Boston Trip
The cost of the trip varies based on the number of students participating:
One bus:
$674.00 per person based on 40 students
$650.00 per person based on 44 students
Two buses:
$751.00 per person based on 50 students
$722.00 per person based on 56 students
$683.00 per person based on 64 students
Please note: One bus holds 44 students. If two buses are required, the cost jumps considerably because we don’t typically fill the
second bus and that changes the number of students who are paying for the fixed cost of the second bus.
(FYI: 60 students went in 2012 & 2013; 37-44 students went each year between 2008-2011.)
In order to make the required payment with Great Day Tours, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is due by Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
To enroll your son or daughter for the trip, please return the commitment form (see page 2) along with your check (payable to Solon
Board of Education) to the SHS Bookstore.
(The number of students who pay the deposit by the deadline will determine the number of buses. After July 23, a waiting list will
be established. These students are not guaranteed a place on the trip. Students on the waiting list will be added to the trip on a
first come, first served basis if other students are unable to attend.)
Please note:
1. If a student is currently under suspension or expulsion or has been suspended or expelled during his or her
high school career, he or she may not be eligible to participate in the Boston Trip.
