President and CEO Mark Carr knew applying this outlook to his business meant going beyond just restoring trust in the auto repair market - it also meant providing consumers with a one-of-a-kind service experience, right down to the waiting rooms where they could sit and relax in during visits. Every facet of Christian Brothers Automotive’s design has been carefully weighed, measured and selected by Carr, from the leather couches guests can enjoy to the artwork hanging on the waiting room walls. Now Carr has taken this same attention to detail and applied it to the company’s new headquarters in Houston, Texas. “I’m a huge believer in offering our guests a clean, comfortable atmosphere,” Carr said. “When a customer walks into a Christian Brothers Automotive, it should feel like they’re walking into their own home. No one should have to put up with a loud, dirty shop.” This commitment to professionalism and creating a business environment that is a step above the competition has carried over to Christian Brothers’ new office 37,000 square foot building at 17725 Katy Freeway Suite 200 in Houston. The company opened its doors to franchisees, partners and the media on April 9 with an open house. “At Christian Brothers Automotive, exceptional customer service is our No. 1 priority,” said Vice President Josh Wall. “At the same time, we want to show our brand partners and employees how much we appreciate their hard work as well. Our new office building will give us the opportunity to do so while also positioning the company for further growth and profitability.” The building shell and common center corridors were designed by Houston’s Powers Brown, while the interior and finishing touches were handled by PDR and Carr himself. As with all franchise locations, Carr was involved every step of the way with the company’s new headquarters. He worked very closely with PDR, reviewing, approving, adjusting and revising each submittal until a complete building color palette was completed. Along with the help of Katy Nichols, Carr also chose the building’s furniture and artwork. The company’s new building will help it continue on its mission to expand throughout the U.S. during 2015, offering customers throughout the country a chance to experience the Christian Brothers Automotive Nice Difference and see the brand’s “love thy neighbor” attitude firsthand.
