Welcome to My Students! Here are titles and the F&P levels of some great books to read! If you don’t remember, check with me to find out your INDEPENDENT reading level. Your independent reading level is the level where you can read most of the words very easily and you can understand what it says very easily. Then find the list below with the matching letter-level of books. For example, if your independent reading level is “V,” look on the Level V list below. Choose titles that look interesting to you! Take this list to the library, bookstore, online or even to yard sales to find books that are at your independent reading level. You ARE allowed to read books from any level that comes before your level. You ARE also allowed to challenge yourself and try a book from a level that comes AFTER your level. After you’ve finished reading, let me know what you enjoyed about it! *Leveled List of Recommended Novels for Great Reading *Levels R-Z: Based on The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Book List K-8+, 2010-2012 Edition Level R Title Genre Author And Then What Happened, Paul Revere?
