Added an extra validation step, per beadchip, to check that all the files are on the local directory as expected.

Software now shows which dmap files are missing per chip.

Software shows a summary of chips with missing files after download is completed.

 Pop up box now says that download error has occurred (as opposed to “Download Complete”) when files have gone missing.

Fixed input text boxes in normal and instantaccess mode, so it’s more flexible using commas, returns, white spaces, and tabs.

Software emails user (if they have signed up for alerts) a summary of which dmap files are missing per chip

Displays a summary of chips with missing after download has completed.

The software will now try by default 5 times instead of 3, to grab files.

<add key="DownloadRetries" value="5" />

Greater robustness to different network configurations.

 It uses the network domain as opposed to the user login domain to see if the user is internal or external.

 It uses the user's default proxy settings if available.

<defaultProxy>

<proxy usesystemdefault="true" />

</defaultProxy>

 If the DNS strings do not work to reach our server, the application will attempt to use the hardcoded IP address.

A new log file (ConnectionInfoLog.txt) for debugging customer's fire wall problems. This log will only be created if the Verbose key is set in the config file.

Additional fixes were added following testing of 2.0.1:

 The zlib.dll was added to the installer

 The application was compiled for Vista and XP

 The application can go back and re-download files that failed validation.

 The application can give up on files that repeatedly fail download.

Decode File Client v2.0.1.0 Mar 3, 2009

Compatibility with Microsoft .Net 3.5 Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) technology.

Software uses multiple threads to download files. Number of threads is configurable (in config file):

<add key="NumDownloadThreads" value="3"/>

User can logon as an instant user by checking the box on the logon screen.

Software uses DNS name to the dispatcher web service instead of IP address: http://us-casddmap.illumina.com. Internal and external addresses are the same.

Modified chip availability: DaysRemaining = PurgeDate - DateTime.Now; PurgeDate comes from Illumina database.

Decode File Client v1.4.0.6 Jan 14, 2009

Software uses Checksum validation if it available

Software can optionally output V1 (the old, uncompressed dmap type)or V3 (the compressed dmap type)

<add key="OutputType" value="Uncompressed" />

*or*

<add key="OutputType" value="Compressed" />

By default, the files are output, uncompressed.
