To defer your admission to the University of Saint Joseph for up to one calendar year, please complete and
submit this form to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

Deferral Policies
1. Deferred admission may only be granted to graduate students who wish to defer to a future
semester from their original start date. Graduate students can defer their admission for up to
one calendar year.
2. Graduate students who do not register for courses in their deferred semester will be
administratively withdrawn and will need to reapply to the university.
Important Note: If you have already registered for courses and wish to defer, please also complete an
Add/Drop Form and submit directly to the Registrar’s Office.
