(Text p.380-388)
(Answer Key)
pg 2 of 2
Multiplying more than 2 integers
1. Multiply the 1st 2 integers.
2. Multiply the product of the 1st 2 integers with the next integer
Eg:
(+3) x (-6) x (-2)
= (-18) x (-2)
= (+36)
NOTE: The same rules apply when dividing!
When you multiply OR divide integers with the same sign, the product/quotient is always
positive (+)
When you multiply OR divide integers with different signs, the product/quotient is always
negative (-)

p. 387-388 #3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Reflect
