WORKS CITED PAGE FORMAT
1. Title the document Works Cited in bold, centered, at the top.
2. Double-space throughout the Works Cited.
3. Take out extra spaces between entries.
4. Use the Hanging Indent Format (Paragraph, Special, Hanging in Microsoft Word).
5. Do not number entries or create a bulleted list.
6. Alphabetize entries. The words A, An, and The do not count as words when
alphabetizing. Alphabetize by the next word in the entry.
Parenthetical Citations
Whatever appears inside a parenthetical citation should directly match whatever appears first
in the corresponding entry on the Works Cited page.
