In order to get a down command, lifter must have feet in a non-staggered stance, no wider than shoulder width, with the knees extended (locked), the hips extended, and elbows extended. The feet may not be moving and the object must be under control overhead. We realize that pressing round stones makes locking the elbows very tricky. If the elbows are reasonably near lockout and the object is steady and the lifter demonstrates control, he/she will get a down signal. If the lifter needs to straighten his/her arms more, he/she will be informed. Dropping the stones from overhead may result in disqualification from the event. They are concrete, they can bust, and then you’ve ruined the event for the next person. Please be considerate. 60sec time limit, fastest time wins No tacky allowed Dragon Drag Arm Over Arm Pull – 60sec time limit Object must be pulled ~50ft , fastest time wins Feet will be braced against a barrier, and the athlete will be responsible for pulling the rope and thus the sled down the course. If athlete does not have a “rope man” to keep the rope out of the way as it builds up, one will be provided General Rules/Usual Mouser Stuff In the event of a tie in the final standings, 1st place finishes will decide the winner. If there is still a tie, then 2nd place finishes will be the determinant, and so on. If a tie cannot be broken this way, athletes will compete in a single MAS match as the tie breaker (or as many matches as are required to determine a winner). Sportsmanship is expected and required. This is the greatest sport in the world, let’s keep it that way. There will be a pre-event prayer. No one is expected to participate, so please do not feel obligated. All we ask is to be respectful of those that do or do not wish to participate. This is a drug free contest. If you are juiced feel free to come cheer on your buddies but please do not bother to sign up. If you have a question, please ask! I would rather take a minute to clarify something than to see someone have a poor showing due to a misunderstanding.
