Arguments Against Creating the Dam
Level 4______________________________________________________________________________
You are a high level Egyptian government official, when you are not building statues of yourself and
kissing babies, people keep asking you about this pesky dam in Ethiopia. At first it was annoying but now
it’s getting downright ridiculous. You have decided that you are going to issue a report that answers
their question once in for all, should Ethiopia be able to build a dam on the Nile River?
In your report you are going to include information that you have collected and cite/say where you are
getting the information from (back in the good ol’ days you could have said because “I’m telling you” but
now people have to actually check that you are telling them the truth).
