Article manuscript assessment for JECER Instructions for reviewing the article manuscript JECER, Journal of Early Childhood Education Research, publishes early childhood scientific research. Its focus is on the research of early childhood education and the theoretical and historical analysis of these phenomena. We welcome a wide range of article manuscripts on research or theory relating to growth, development, learning and wellbeing of young children up to 8 years of age. The journal examines the social, pedagogical, professional and educational aspects of early childhood education. Management/leadership and organization/organising of early childhood education are also central themes in the journal. Target audiences for this journal are the researchers, educators and students of early childhood education, parents, early childhood education professionals, decision makers, and people working on administration and educational planning. JECER is a refereed journal. Each article manuscript (anonymised by the author) is sent to two reviewers, who read it independently and incognito. The assessment bases on the scientific merits as well as readability of the manuscript and its suitability to the scope of the journal.
