First do what is required to earn that badge. 2. To receive credit for that badge, you must do the following: a. Click on the “full text” link and read the speech that is associated with the missing badge b. Choose three “chunks” of the text. Each chunk should be 10-20 lines. Please copy and paste these into a word document and annotate them. c. Do a says/does analysis on these three chunks. Use the instructions found on the Says/Does page of the blog. Focus on using the vocabulary lists I provided for you to describe the diction and tone. Also remember to use the strong verbs to describe what the speaker is “doing.” You must turn in your “interest” labeled as INTEREST FOR QUIZLET before I will view any screen shots and award you any badges. Once the badges are awarded, I will change your grade on Standard Score. LATE BADGES AND INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED ON OR BEFORE THE LATE DUE DATES INDICATED IN RED ABOVE For each missing badge, you have only a week to earn that badge and change your grade. After that, your grade will remain “as is” on Standard Score but you will need to go ahead and complete the Quizlet activity anyway in order to earn the next sets of badges.
