IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ AND KEEP THIS PAGE
1. All confirmation documentation will be sent via email. Please print your email CLEARLY.
You will receive an initial email confirming your booking and then full details with dates and
times in a second email.
2. Once the exam has been booked refunds are not possible.
3. If the exam is already full when your entry arrives you will be informed immediately.
4. We require 4 candidates to run an exam. If we do not reach this number at the entry closing
date you will be informed immediately.
5. If you have not received all details via email within two weeks of the exam please contact the
centre immediately on study@english-in-chester.co.uk or 01244 318913.
6. The speaking exam takes place on a separate date to the listening and written papers. It
usually takes place before these papers and will be a week day. The listening and written
papers take place on the same day, and on the date shown above.
7. One of the documents you receive in the second email shows the date your results are
available and how to access these results. DO NOT LOSE THIS PIECE OF PAPER.
8. Your photograph will be taken on the day of the speaking test. This is part of Cambridge
English Language Assessment’s exam security procedures.
9. You will need to bring your Passport or National Identity card to all parts of the exam. If you
do not bring your ID you will not be able to take the exam. You must bring the Passport or
Card that you used to complete the exam application form. You must attach a copy of your
ID card or Passport with your exam application.
10. Exams take place at English in Chester, 9-11 Stanley Place, Chester, CH1 2LU. If you are
coming by car please park either at the Chester Racecourse or at the Linenhall car-park. Both
are very close to the exam centre. There is no parking outside of the centre. Please note if
there are races in Chester on the day of the exam it will not be possible to park on the
Racecourse and all local parking fills up quickly so please allow extra time as you may have to
park further away. To check for race days please visit www.chester-races.co.uk
11. You will only receive one copy of your exam certificate. It is important that you supply the
correct address to send your certificate to and that someone will be at that address to receive
it. Certificates are sent by courier and will require a signature on delivery. Cambridge English
DO NOT issue duplicate certificates.
12. Full Terms and Conditions for Cambridge English Language Assessment exams are available
