Bravo Timothy for reading and logging over 200 books! Bravo Keira for reading and logging over 100 books! BORROW A BOOK – WOW! - For reading all of the French alphabet books… Bravo Shilpa, Jonathan A., Alexandra PLAYDOUGH: This month’s suppliers are: Keira, Declan, Aiden & Oliver KLEENEX: We are running low on Kleenex in the classroom. If everyone could please send in 1 more box, that would probably last us until the end of the school year. Thanks J’AIME LIRE Now that most of the class is past reading the alphabet books, I am finding that students are returning the “J’aime Lire” books very quickly. If the student is able to sound out and read the book, on their own, that is the right way to go. However, I have been taking the book out of their note-tote, asking them to read me the story and some are not able to even read the first word. Please remember to sound out and read the story WITH, rather than for your child, before sending it back to school for an exchange. LA GRENOUILLE DU JOUR (special helper) If you have not already done so, please send in a baby picture of your child (youngest possible). We will be keeping the picture at school for a couple months for an upcoming family project. The “grenouille du jour” have really enjoyed bringing home our special Frog story to share with their family. Please make sure to send the book back the following day so that the next special helper can take it home. The book will be sent home in a special bag to ensure it’s clean, safe, and proper return.
