It’s a really good thing to attend. b. Darwin (Vice President): i. We have these committees for a reason. We want to cover student affairs on all fronts. Please send me your committee meeting times. ii. Darwin: As a side note, I know people use laptops here. Two years ago, you couldn’t. Now, try not to be on Facebook. That says to us that you’re not present at the meeting. For Saturday, we need so many volunteers for the Homecoming dance, to set up throughout the day and to help out throughout the event. It’s pretty mandatory. We’re cosponsoring the event. We should be on the forefront of making things run smoothly. iv. Laura: If I’m volunteering for the 1-2:30pm shift on Saturday, does that count? 1. Darwin: Yes. v. Darwin: The first people at the game will also get t-shirts. The first 100. iv. Alex: In general, Homecoming has historically been a thing for alumni, that’s in the nature of the event. The fact that nothing used to happen for students didn’t sit well with all of us. Take a look at all the emails that you’ve gotten over the past week about Homecoming. Enjoy Homecoming. v. Wyatt: The t-shirts on game day are different. They’re actually long-sleeve t-shirts. Available to the first 100 fans. vi. Lauren: On Homecoming, is it true that if you go there you get a ticket to win a car? 1. Darwin: It’s to get a one-year lease on a car. If you are chosen, you have to kick a 40-yard field goal. If you do it, you win the lease. 2. Wyatt: It’s a truck, not a car. b. Community Council (Ben): i. Ben: It’s the K-Plans 50th anniversary.
