Courses Taught Stage Craft – Students learn and apply the basic principles of drawing, scenic painting, set construction,
lights, sound, and costumes. Focus on developing students’ creative problem solving skills.
 IB Drama – International Baccalaureate Degree Program – Foundation in theatre in the making, theatre in
performance, and theatre in the world. The critical study of the theory, history and culture of theatre
through work shopping, visual projects and scripted performance. Emphasis is placed on the importance of
working as a member of a collaborative team.
 MS Advanced Drama – Performance based course of combined 6th through 8th grade students that helps to
develop the confidence of the individual through the work and support of an ensemble. Physical and vocal
methods of training are developed and students work together to create original pieces of theater as well as
working on scripted scenes.

construction and design of scenic, lighting, costume and sound aspects for four drama productions and two dance
