Enrichment Scholarship Guidelines
2015-2016
The goal for this scholarship is to supply equal opportunities to children at Arrowhead
Elementary for the PTA sponsored after school enrichment programs
The following are some guidelines that help the PTA distribute any scholarships awarded for enrichment
programs in a fair and responsible manner while maintaining the privacy of the scholarship applicant as best
we can.
We will assume that anyone applying needs the scholarship and will not ask for verification of that need

Requests should be made prior to the start of a program.
A maximum of $60 in scholarship funds for attendance of PTA sponsored enrichment programs will be
granted to Arrowhead Elementary students for the 2015-2016 school year. The scholarship amount may be
used for one PTA sponsored enrichment program or may be divided among multiple programs.
The main contact for any scholarship application will be the PTA Treasurer (treasurer@ptaarrowhead.org)
Committee Chairs receiving a request should turn it over to the PTA Treasurer.
Teachers and Staff should encourage those in need to contact the PTA committee chair or PTA Treasurer.
Scholarships only cover PTA sponsored programs.
All enrichment program flyers should state that “scholarships may be available” - PTA will not advertise
in the monthly newsletters or weekly highlights.

into your teacher, office, or place in the Treasurer mailbox. You will be notified as soon as possible what
portion of the scholarship will be provided. We will do our best to cover as much as possible, being fair to all
students.
