Photo: Jude Thaddeus (chairperson –NUARSA addressing the students during the visit to the US embassy. On the above date, NUARSA took a group of the Faculty of Arts students to the US Embassy. The major objective of this visit was to enable the students to access the resource center of the embassy which is majorly the library. The students were registered with the library to enable them access the online data bases and also the physical library. This went a long way in enhancing their academic researches and scholastic pursuit. Photo: students being taken through the process of online library registration. The US Embassy library has a large online data base with a wide array of books from all disciplines. Access to this library expands the options for research for the students. Furthermore, students were told that they could access the physical library anytime they wished once they registered. Furthermore, this visit strengthened the relationship of the university to the embassy. The embassy staff also showed students how they could get scholarships to study in the US. We appreciate the support that the university is according to us consequently enabling us to carry out such activities.
