Good luck to our Wrestling team at Cities this week! The tournament takes place on Thursday and Friday at Aden
Bowman.
Fitness and Training 20/30 - We travel today, the bus leaves at 12:20 sharp and you must hand in your
travel consent form before we leave today. Again the bus leaves at 12:20 and bring your gym clothes and
running shoes.
Senior Basketball teams play this Thursday at Centennial. These are the last games of the regular season come on out and cheer on the teams. Quarter finals are Tuesday, March 4.
Congratulations to our curling teams who competed in Regionals last week. Provincials are this upcoming
weekend. Good luck to our teams competing!
Bingo is Back! Tomorrow is the day, and Bingo is the way - you can help out with two great causes! All proceeds
will go to our foster child, Sumon, in Bangladesh, and the Wings of Hope charity in Haiti. Everyone has nine chances
to win the ultimate prize of sweets and treats party sponsored by Keehborn/Jalbert TGG. Bring your loonies and get
ready to play!
The SRC is organizing a fundraising initiative! We will be selling fruit, fruit juice, and cookie dough
throughout the month of February. If you are interested in purchasing something, please find an SRC
member or speak with Mlle Fontaine in Rm 315. Also posted on the door of Rm 315 is a list of all the
wonderful items you can purchase and their prices. Deadline to purchase is February 26th!
Yearbook After School Work Session: Yearbook members please attend this session on Wednesday
February 26th after school in the computer lab. Thanks!
Win $2500.00 & a Trip to Toronto: Grades 9-12 Student Nonfiction Writing Contest - Grand Prize of
$2500, Plus $1000.00 for the winner’s school. Winning work will be published in the Maclean’s magazine.

If you might be interested in a future in design and architecture and are a student in Gr. 9 or Gr. 10, you can
be part of the process that will be underway shortly to build new schools in our province.
From March 10-14, you can be part of a larger group that will give voice to the design of our new schools.
