Loafer Creek Ranch Deer Herd Information
Land was purchased in 2010 and game fenced. All local whitetail were harvested prior to the close of
the 2010-11 hunting season. In 2011 we established the Property as MLD and have achieved MLD level
3 status with Texas Parks and Wildlife. The property is broken into two separate registered release sites.
Facility ID 4486 and 4410.
To start the 2011 season we brought in 3 doe fawns and 1 buck fawn from Addison Lee Pfluger, a Texas
Deer Breeding Facility and the 700 Springs Ranch out of San Angelo, Texas. These animals are out of
superior whitetail genetics and sired by the following two bucks. White 924 “Twins” in this photo is 2
years old and Pink 80 is age 3. We also brought in a 3 year old South Texas doe from Rancho Nuevo
Whitetails.
To begin the 2012 season we brought in another buck and doe from the same pens, both age 1.

We also have roughly 15 Axis Deer. The buck is 3 years old (roughly 27 inches) and there are 3-5
younger Axis Bucks. Also on property are 5 Blackbuck Antelope. The male is 3 years old.
