January Oral Report
President Research Project:
Each student was assigned a former U.S. President to research. Find as many facts as you
can and create a timeline poster to present the information to the class.
Make sure you include:
Birth date, where born, family (early life and during presidency), education, military service,
political party, dates they were president, any special facts that you may find interesting!
When we go to library on Friday, students will be required to check out one book that will be a
biography of their assigned president. They are to read this book, (checking out for a second
week if necessary) and then use this book as one source to help them put together their
timeline. You may use as many sources as necessary to find the information to complete the
project.
Due Date: January 21, 2014
Presentations: will be during the week of the 21st and then they reports will be displayed
during Catholic Schools Week.
Be as creative as possible! And include as many facts as you can, but don’t forget the
basics!
