Accountable – The person who makes the final decision and has the ultimate ownership. Consulted – The person who must be consulted before a decision is taken. Informed – The person who must be informed that a decision or action has taken place. It is important to note that in every stage (or gate) of the process, there must be only one responsible entity for delivering the artefacts at each stage (or gate).
