Friatec AG - Division Rheinhütte Pumpen presents
individual and standardised solutions for sophisticated
pumping applications at ACHEMA 2015.
Wiesbaden, June 2015. Rheinhütte Pumpen develops solutions for
challenging applications which ensure that reliable pumping results are
achieved where demanding media are involved. With more than 20 pump
types, Rheinhütte Pumpen offers a comprehensive range of products
based on metal, plastic and technical ceramic materials. The company will
be presenting project-related and standardised pumping solutions from
15 – 19 June at ACHEMA 2015 in Frankfurt am Main. These solutions have
been specially developed for a variety of industrial sectors, with a
particular focus on applications in the chemical industry. The experts from
Rheinhütte Pumpen will be providing information on the efficient and longterm use of high-tech pumps at ACHEMA in Hall 8.0, Stand B23.

Pumpen provides reliable concepts for applications involving the pumping of

applications involving basic inorganic chemicals is apparent for the production
and transportation of fertilizers and phosphates and pumping of molten sulphur,
urea and every kind of acid.
Challenging fluids such as molten sulphur, wastewater, resins, solvents,
aromatics and epichlorohydrin also need to be conveyed in the basic organic
chemical and petrochemical sectors. Rheinhütte Pumpen offers conceptual
solutions for the pumping of these substances.

cleaning and recycling processes. These processes are encountered in
production in the majority of industrial sectors, but the demands and
requirements to be met in individual areas are extremely varied. Rheinhütte
pumps meet all of these requirements, regardless of whether media used in wet
cleaning processes in waste incinerator plants, acid and pickling processes in
waste treatment, electrolysis processes in the recycling of raw materials,
wastewater treatment processes or seawater applications are involved.
Fossil Fuels and renewable power generation
Rheinhütte Pumpen offers a comprehensive range of solutions for the
renewable and conventional energy production processes.
In particular, the GVSO, which has been redesigned and developed further and
is now available as an enhanced multi-stage hydraulic solution, represents a
reliable concept which addresses the future requirements of solar power
station technology in the power tower sector and meets demands for
increasingly higher discharge heads. The GVSO is used as a main supply pump
for salt-based heat storage systems and system components in the salt system
melting and filling process and peripheral areas to protect the plant.
When it comes to the processing of renewable raw materials in the biorefinery
sector, solutions are required which address the transportation of biomasses and
biorefinery products such as sugar, biodiesel and vegetable oils. Rheinhütte
Pumpen focuses on the development of centrifugal pumps made from metal for
these applications.
Robust Rheinhütte pumps are ideal for all processes in conventional energy
generation involving wet cleaning and the treatment and pumping of
wastewater.

Processing & consumer goods industry
Chemical, corrosive and toxic media are frequently employed in the processing
and consumer goods industry, with examples of these uses being surface
coating and treatment and heat transfer applications. Rheinhütte pumps are
